We are Scissorwood

On the edge of the Cheshire plain, in the foothills of the Pennines, lies the small village of North Rode.

 

In the area there are many woods, but one especially catches the imagination – Scissor Croft Wood.

 

Here nature provides food for both eyes and spirit – the blend of species with their varying hues, textures, shapes and forms – the magic of living timber.

 

When Peter Sampson, who lived nearby, and business partner Nick Heath wanted a name for their new business the answer lay there – Scissorwood.

 

The image of this magical wood now adorns our business’s literature.
